THE CONCEPTThe evening of November 4th at the Rovati Foundation in Milan marks an extraordinary synthesis of Italian art, design, and enterprise. The protagonists are Busnelli International, a historic company founded in 1927 and a leader in reconstituted veneer, and Maurizio Galimberti, the master photographer whose unmistakable language of visual fragmentation and reconstruction gives new life to material.The meeting between Busnelli and Galimberti is no coincidence: both share an approach rooted in transformation. While the photographer deconstructs and reassembles images, Busnelli shapes and reinvents wood, turning it into a blank canvas for architects and designers. The exhibition is born from this conceptual affinity, transforming material into an aesthetic and cultural experience.In parallel with the exhibition, a biographical book dedicated to Busnelli International will be presented. Through an interview with Alessandro Busnelli and a rich collection of images, the volume recounts the company’s family roots, industrial challenges, and visionary vocation, now carried forward by Alessandro and Alberto Busnelli. The book also includes a stimulating reflection by Professor Stefano Zecchi on the collaboration between Busnelli and Maurizio Galimberti, exploring their unique dialogue between matter and art. Each guest will receive a complimentary copy, making the evening a complete and memorable cultural experience. Starting on November 4, the temporary exhibition “MATERIA E VISIONE” will open and run from November 4 to November 9.
